Frames and Flashes

by SPANDANA

I’ve always been fascinated by how people describe near-death experiences: “My life flashed before me in frames, it was like a movie.” It is almost as if our existence is a film in progress. I believe that analogy to be true, just like movies, life too is a montage of moments, each brimming with the emotion and meaning we often find in film.

Frames and Flashes is my ode to the life that has made me feel and the cinema that has made me heal. In this column, I hope to write about the many lives that movies have let me lead and the many stories that will one day flash before me as flickering frames.
